Ginger Lemon

Ayurveda is a holistic tradition from ancient India, which recognizes the necessity to maintain a harmony between body, mind and spirit. Ayurveda teaches that the physical, mental and emotional levels are influenced by the six food tastes: sweet, sour, salty, bitter, pungent and astringent. The pungent taste of dried ginger is warming while the sour taste of lemon awakens the mind, creating a feeling of lightness. Ginger Lemon tea has a sweet, refreshing flavour. For a perfect infusion, pour freshly boiled water over one teabag. Allow to steep for 4 to 6 minutes - or longer for a stronger flavour. Gently squeeze the teabag to let the active ingredients fully release into the water. Enjoy a pick-me-up cup of Ginger Lemon tea anywhere, anytime. Ginger Lemon tea is also delicious and refreshing as a chilled drink in the summer!
